By The Ministry of Education has launched EduFactCheck, an official website offering verified information, frequently asked questions and a channel for public enquiries on the 2026 education reforms.
The platform explains how the reforms are being introduced in phases, what changes students and teachers can expect in teaching and learning, how assessment methods will work and confirms the continuation of the G.C.E. O/L and A/L examinations.
Summaries are available in Sinhala, Tamil and English. The Ministry says the site is intended to counter misinformation circulating on social media and to give parents, teachers and students a single trusted source.
